I Februari 2005 såg vi första gången videon med Jason Evert och hans blivande FRU Chrystaline. Det gjorde ett STORT intryck på oss. Jason pratar om att leva som ung i dagens samhälle och att leva i kyskhet. Jason är 28 år och oskuld och stolt. Chrystaline är ingefär lika gammal, inte oskuld, men har "återfått sin oskuld" (klumpigt uttryckt, det är bättre på engelska "Secondary Purity", vilket betyder att hon gett ett löfte om att inte ha sex och att leva kyskt tills hon gifter sig). De talar till en högstadiepublik på en amerikansk katolsk skola, och det är fascinerande att höra och se dem.

SPEAKER BIOS

Twenty-eight-year-old Jason Evert earned a master's degree in theology, and undergraduate degrees in counseling and theology, with a minor in philosophy at Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is the author of four books, including If You Really Loved Me and Pure Love, which challenge young people to embrace the virtue of chastity. Jason speaks at seminars, participates in debates, and responds to thousands of questions about Catholicism from people around the world.

After giving chastity presentations solo for three years, Jason teamed up with Crystalina Padilla, age 23, who was trained as a chastity speaker by the Challenge Task Force on Chastity. They speak internationally to over 100,000 teens each year in Catholic, Christian, and public junior and senior high schools, as well as universities. Both Jason and Crystalina are full-time apologists with Catholic Answers, the nation's largest lay-run apostolate for apologetics and evangelization.

After a year of speaking as an engaged couple, Jason and Crystalina married in June of 2003, and continue to share their inspirational testimonies with teens as well as parents. In their highly popular chastity seminar, "Romance without Regret," the duo provides compelling and uplifting reasons for embracing the virtue of chastity.

The Everts are on the Board of Advisors for the National Abstinence Clearinghouse, and are frequent guests on radio programs throughout the country. Their television appearances include "The Donahue Show," WGN-TV news, the BBC, and EWTN on "Life on the Rock" and "The Abundant Life." Jason's video "Teen Relationships and Sexual Pressure" was given the Silver Crown Award for Best Youth Video by International Christian Visual Media and the two of them were given the 2003 Impact Award by the National Abstinence Clearinghouse in recognition of their success with teens in America.
